Bishop McGuckian took part in ‘Conversations in the Spirit’, one of the pivotal experiences of the Synod helping the work of discernment. He intends to share his Synodal experience and further the conversation about how we can continue the work of discernment within the Diocese. We have many contexts in which we need to develop and use the gift of discernment.
To facilitate these gatherings, the Vicar Forane’s have scheduled four venues around the Diocese. These meetings will be held during the last week of November. The venues are as follows:
1) Stranorlar Parish Centre on Monday 27th November at 7.30pm
2) Ionad Naomh Pádraig, Bunbeg on Tuesday 28th November at 8pm
3) St. Patrick’s Parish Centre, Donegal Town on Wednesday 29th November at 7.30pm
4) Ards Friary on Thursday 30th November at 7pm.
We invite you to attend and encourage members of your parish to come to the location nearest to them. It will be particularly helpful to have members of Parish Pastoral Councils present.
