The death has taken place on Saturday 30th September 2023 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Long Lane, Letterkenny of Very Reverend Michael Conaghan, retired Parish Priest of Kilmacrenan, Co. Donegal.
Born: 22nd December 1935
Ordained: 31st July 1965 in Heythrope College, England for the Society of the Divine Master (Salvatorians)
Fr Conaghan received his primary education in Castlederg National School and his Secondary Education in St Columb’s College, Derry. He studied for the Priesthood at Heythrope College, England.

Fr. Conaghan’s remains will be received into St Columba’s Church, Kilmacreanan at 8pm tonight Saturday 30th September to repose. Public viewing Sunday 1st October from 6pm – 8pm followed by Rosary.
Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Kilmacrenan on Monday 2nd October at 12noon followed by burial in St Patrick’s Graveyard, Crossroads, Killygordon.
