| Eucharistic Congress |

A number of events will take place in the Diocese in the course of the year to prepare the Diocese to celebrate the Eucharistic Congress.
Diocesan Day on 4th March Each parish is invited to send between five and 10 representatives to this Day to be held in St Eunan's College, Letterkenny. The day will start at 2pm and end at 6pm. The group will hopefully form a parish committee who will promote the Eucharistic Congress in their own Parish. A timetable for the day will be posted here when available.
48 Hour Eucharistic Adoration: It is proposed to hold 48 Hours of Adoration in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament in each Church of the Diocese beginning on Ash Wednesday. A special Monstrance to be used and handed over from Parish to Parish.

Registration for the Confress in Dublin: if you wihs to attend all or part of the Congress events being held in Dublin plase log onto www.iec2012.ie and follow the registration programme.
Statio Orbis - Final Celebration will take place on Sunday 17th June in Croke Park, Dublin. A limited number of tickets is availbe for the Diocese (547). If interested an application form is available by clicking here or it can be obtained from your Parish. This form together with €10 has to be submitted to the Diocesan Delegate no later than the 23rd March. This list must then be forwarded to the IEC who will issue the tickets in May.
